Title: Federation of Women's Clubs Portraits Collection
Date: 1885-1980
Summary: This collection contains portraits of early individual members of the North Dakota Federation of Women's Clubs as well as group portraits taken at state conventions. Some of the Sakakawea Junior Girls' Clubs group portraits are included, as this organization was established by a NDFWC member. Photos of destitute Native American families in the 1940's are present, probably representing a humanitarian cause of the North Dakota Federation of Women's Clubs. Members and group photos of other local North Dakota clubs, such as the Shakespearean Club, Current Events Club, and the Alfredian Club are also included in the collection.

- “Collection Number” searches the Collection Number field only and requires an exact match.

The collections preserved in the North Dakota State Archives include over a million images. Only a small percentage of these images have been digitized. This photo gallery provides a preview of the images that have been digitized.
